When was the first year season you started to watch football? You remember the first game you watched?
I started watching football back in 1996. I remember watching the Cowboys Steelers Super Bowl. I thought it was quite entertaining. I remember a few games before but that's when I really started to watch it.
I was mad because my Bills lost to the Steelers in the playoff that year. I think it was Jim Kelly's final year with the Bills.

Well …….it has been awhile …….Don Meredith was the Dallas quarterback ….
I don’t remember the very first, but I’ve seen many and now live in the Dallas metroplex ….
….during the "Staubach years" I would get physically sick each time ….
"the officials beat Dallas out of a game" ……..
The First game i watched, i was 4 years old. i remember watching Superbowl 31 with my favorite team, the Packers versus the Patriots. Of course the Packers won! I still have pictures of my watching that game. today, i cannot do anything else but watch Football from 1 - 11 watchin all the games.
Well I was 8 at the time. It was the 1998 NFC championship game Atlanta Falcons vs Minnesota Vikings. When I saw how the Falcons started playing I was really impressed with them. Chris Chandler (falcons qb) looked really sharp and Jamal Anderson was freaking awesome.
The whole game, atmosphere and the exciting ending in ot made it a memorable experience. That’s when I realized that football was the sport for me. Since then I have been through the good season (2004 rune to the NFC championship game 11-5 record) and bad seasons (2007 season Michael Vick arrested, Coach Bobby Petrino left during the season 4-12 record) GOOOOOOOOOO FALCONS!!!!!
I belong to a Football Family. I’ve been watching the NFL since the 60’s. Living In Iowa, we paid much attention to the KC Chiefs (Still do)…They were GREAT some years…OH, when Joe Montana came to KC- they made it to the FINAL FOUR that year….Dang! Arrowhead Stadium was SOLD OUT. Anyhow….LOTS of great games. Gotta admit, being from Iowa, was pretty excited for Kurt Warner this year with the AZ Cards….He makes us proud here. Watching the Steelers-Cards this last Super Bowl was great, since I enjoy both Teams. My Son is a DIE HARD Steelers fan. He sent me a Cell Picture with my Granddaughter on a Steeler’s Blanket, with a caption of - THE CARDS SUCK! Lol! She WILL also be a NFL Fan….
Well, sorry for the narrative, but, I’ve been watching NFL for over 40 years. GREAT QUESTION.
I think it was 94′ or 95′…Really my love for the game came from Madden. I remember my dad and my uncle playing Madden and one of them was the Falcons. The Falcons scored and the player started to do the dirty bird, and that was the dopest thing ever to me. Ive fallen in love with football more and more sense, and im a Falcons fan because of it too.
The first game I remember watching the whole way through was 1983 Steelers vs. jets! It was Terry Bradshaw’s last game!
It was 1970 a game between the Raiders and the Chiefs, I was at my great grandpas house and was just a small fry. I remember a big fight between the teams after the game and was hooked on the Raider Nation ever since
Early 80s. I remember Tim Spencer(A running back at Ohio State) holding his arms out as he was scoring a touch down, and my dad calling it showboating.
when i was 4 (im 18 now) my dad took me to my first football game. it was the bills against the bucs in tampa. we live in tampa but my dad was raised in buffalo so he’s always been a diehard bills fan and now i am too (he raised me well haha). i remember we were in the nose bleeds on the second to last row and the bills lost like 20 - 6 or something close to that. while i wish the bills had won, i remember having so much fun because theres nothing better than being 4 years old and going to a football game with the ol’ man haha.
oh and i think its hilarious that losman left to play in the UFL, but thats just me
