I've never been very athletic, but I've always loved to ride my bike. My dad is a huge fan of the tour de france and we watch it together every year. I want a job, although I don't necessarily need one, which is why I want to work at the local bike shop. Nothing else seemed to interest me like the bike shop. It seems like "fun retail". Anyway, the problem is other than my love for biking, I know NOTHING about bikes. I've been watching tons of tutorials on fixing tires, tune-ups, and overhauling wheel bearings. I've also checked their website for the bikes sold at the shop and have been doing research on the brands.
Can I get the job based on pure knowledge, or is working at a bike shop the type of thing where you really do need hands on experience?

So theres this boy who isn't the skinniest around. We were running track for P.E and we were talking about bikes. I mentioned that my dad was a cyclist. And that we always watched the Tour De France together. Lol. Then the boy said that he rode and won the tour de france! Lol! I literally started laughing and caught him in the middle of the lie.
Firstly cause you might be somewhat fit if you ride in the tour de france and he wasnt all that fit.
Second I don't think you could do that when your 15.

For me it was when I was 3 and had just moved to Dallas. My dad turned on a Dallas Stars game ( when Ed Belfour was goalie and Brett Hull played alongside Mike Modano) and I sat down to watch it. Had really no idea what was going on but I watched it. I kept watching and watching. Now I'm 14 and I try not to miss a single game. It's all because of my dad.

My dad came home and e just told me that you can now watch tv on your computer. Do you need to download a software to watch or to connect some device to your computer just to be able to watch?

because i was watching a programme showing the ice caps 2 years ago and my dad said but there not showing them now. he then said "amazing the world goes in climate cycles yet everyone believes it was man made". and i reseached his claim and it does the world does go in climate cycles. such as the dinosaurs whose period was 20+ degrees higher than it is today and the ice age whan the entire planet was mainly covered in ice. so do you think man made global warming exists?
at the minute i think we're partly to blame with cutting the rainforests down which means CO2 cant be taken out of the atmosphere as efficently.

Little Jonny was watching tv one day while his dad was in the kitchen, Jonny went to the kitchen and said to his dad with a confused look on his face "daddy what's 'love juice'", his dad was taken aback by this as it was very unexpected but thought well he has to find out sometime and him and his mates have probably talked about it and that's where he's heard it.

I have a problem that is really bothering me and I would really like some advise.

I started to like tennis a few years ago (when I got my nintendo wii and wii sports) so I started to get really into it, I got a new racket, balls etc and I really started to enjoyed it.

But when my racket broke I couldn't play anymore so I forgot about it but I was upset.

But just recently my dad bought me a new racket for my birthday so I have got into it again and I have really thought this through and I want to continue playing tennis for years to come, I am going to start to go to a tennis club and get some coaching too to make me better but the problem is my mum thinks I am just going to do all of this and then stop and start another thing.

I want to make tennis a part of my lifestyle but my mum doesn't think so, I have in the past done football, golf and basketball but I found tennis again and I want to stick with it and it is a sport that I feel comfortable with & enjoy.

I practise everyday against my wall in my garden (just for now until I go to this club) and I also play with my family and friends whenever possible, I just want to show my mum that I want to keep doing this and I wont "just stop" and start another thing because I really enjoy this sport.

I have also started watching wimbledon and I have found some tennis players that I like to watch but my mum always says to me "you don't even watch tennis so dont try to be big"

My mum isn't being horrible to me and I understand what she is saying but I want to show her that this time I mean what I say.

Any ideas??

As you have probably gathered, I am a young (16) fast bowler and play cricket, but at the moment, when I bowl, my back hurts a LOT! Anyway, we recorded my action the other day, so you can look at it, and I think it may be my front leg collapsing that causes the pain. Anyway, I was hoping some of you could take a look, and tell me what is probably wrong if I am wrong, and how I can stop my front leg collapsing.

Okay, so here's the deal I watched this one anime before and I forgot what it was called...I can discribe it, from what I remember that is. It's about this on robot who doesn't have any memory and he does fight and can transform from human to robot. The main girl hates robot because her Dad made one(some) and, if I remember correctly, is killed by one. But she knows who this guy is...kind of. She says his robot name(I think it's Giro, Chiro, Gero, somethin' like that) and he kinda remembers some things and he goes full robot, even in looks. At first she HATES him and doesn't want nothing to do with him but they go on an adventure and later on she actually falls in-love with him(>:P). It's not half bad, from what I remember. It's been a while since I seen it...lets see...maybe 4-5 years maybe longer. When I seen it it was on adultswim so yeah...If anyone can help me I'll appreciate it very much! I can't remember this animes name to save my life! Help?

Real satellite products for PC?
It is my dad's birthday soon and we are moving to another country from the US this summer. I was wondering if there are any real products (not free scams) which would allow us to watch American television (tv channels) on our tv or computer in another country. I think this would be a great gift for him, but I cannot find anything that looks real. I found Tv on Pc, or something like that, which offers a one time payment of and then it would forever be free....well...yeah right. What sounds too good to be true, actually is.

It isnt really a carer path but I do really enjoy it

I look at what I can improve on and I work at it as much at I can then I move on to the next thing, But when my mum says to people "she thinks shes in wimbledon" I feel like all my comfedents (sorry about the spelling -_-) goes from me. I try to block it out but its hard

Right now, I am watching Chicago Wolves hockey over the White Sox because it's the playoffs.

I also watch NASCAR and NFL on Sundays but then it's all baseball.

I like Minor League Hockey!!! My dad used to take us to Wolves games a lot and I really like them! And they are playing their rival, Rockford who goes to the Blackhawks, who I have to dislike because of the rivalry. But I love AHL!!! They went down 3-2 in the series.

I don't know much about cricket but I wanted to get my dad a birthday present and he's never been to Lords cricket ground before... I'm not sure whats best to go and watch for him e.g 1st test or 2nd....
