How fast is internet that you get through satellite tv.?
I am about to move to a place were they do not have dsl or cable to my knowlege, but I have heard that you can get satellite dish tv, and get all the cable chanels, and you can get high sped internet through the satellite. Is it anywere near dsl or cable, ie can I stream video and music etc.

Satellite Internet connections is slower than Cable and also a little slower than DSL (but not by much). But it is way faster than dial-up.
Yes you can stream video.
The downside to satellite (dish) is the cost per month (I have already seen $190/ month) and the constant lost of signal.
You can try the new services from Verizon, I have seen good things with these.
