Good morning. Would you still watch football if they reinstate Michael Vick back in the league?
He has pleaded guilty to the dog fighting charges and it is very likely that he will serve jail time.
If after he is released from jail, the NFL wants him to play in the league again, would you still watch?
**Yes, I know this is the political section but DARNIT, you are the people I deal with most on Y!A and I value your opinions.**

yeah i will still watch. i won’t let one dog killer ruin football for me.
It would have no effect on me because I don’t watch it. However, if he ever goes out on the field again, it would likely create riots! PETA and other animal rights groups will stay on his back from here until eternity. Any way you look at it, his career is damaged and that includes endorsing products as well as making commercials. Public outrage for his role with animal abuse, will see to that.
Yes!
At that point he has served his time, so why would you deny him the right to earn a living?
I love football too much to allow one bad seed to prevent me from watching.
How would Vick do in Cleveland, home of the Dawgpound!
Are they gonna play "Who let the Dogs Out" if/when he does return??
I honestly think Vick is done. Nothing he can do to redeem himself now. It’s an inexcusable act.
If and only IF they allowed him to play I would probably boycott the league.
Otherwise, GO EAGLES!
Yes but I am a Bengals fan so I don’t throw stones when it comes to the NFL.
Vick is only one of the losers that give the NFL a bad name, there are more that people just love but still watch. I am a Raiders fan (yeah, I know they suck but I don’t ride the band wagon). I’ll keep watching. I’m a bigger hockey fan.
***I like to post some questions so my "politics peeps" can answer because they/we tend to have more thought out answers. If you posted this in the football section you would only get those that are on his nuts talking you down.***
I’ll always watch the NFL (Vikings!), but Id never watch Vick play again.
oj is in the hall of fame and i still watch. i am not going to let some worthless dog killer ruin my sundays.
go browns!
I still watch football, married to giant Cowboys fan. BUT would protest with PITA and anyone else willing to speak up
Yes, I enjoy sports and because of the actions of one person I should stop watching my favorite football team (Cleveland Browns)? That’s like asking people if they will stop watching Grey’s Anatomy if Isiah Washington gets hired back on because of this remarks about a Gay co-worker. People will still watch.
One more thing the NFL is so much then one person unlike basketball which I only enjoy watching. As for the people protesting Mike Vick if and when he returns, he served his time, Football is his job and if the NFL deems it ok for him to return they have every right, he has to earn a living as well.
Todays’s headlines are tomorrow’s kitty-box liners. he will be back and it will be like it never happened. NFL won’t suffer one bit. They should make him play for Cleveland for the rest of his career though.
If Vick is allowed to resume his NFL career, it should be mandated that 1/2 his money should go to the Humane Society, etc.
What worries me, is that without football, what will this thug do next? Obviously, he has issues with violence.
On the other hand, he may cause too much trouble in prison and increase his sentence from bad behavioral problems
Yes I would… And a point to ponder…He plead guilty… How many politicians own up to their wrong doing that fast? They get re-elected. Not all pols are crooked…but then…not all NFL players are dog fight fans…
You have to put it into perspective. Think of him as any other convicted felon. When they get out, they are supposed to find a job. Would you not shop at a store anymore if your knew they had hired a convicted felon? I think once you serve your time you have paid your debt…
I love football. I even go to a Falcons game once a year (Not cause I like the falcoons. But I live in GA, but I gotta see the Saints). If they let him back in, this will not stop me from going. I wouldn’t buy a #7 Falcons jersey, but I wouldn’t boycott the whole league.
