What does this Portuguese mean?
I was watching the tennis today and Nadal was playing, there was a sign saying "I pedes huaseros Rafa"

I assumed it was Spanish but people tell me it sounds more Portuguese - what does it mean?

We use our eyes in almost every activity we perform, whether reading, working, watching television, writing a letter, driving a car, and in countless other ways, in my opinion the human eyes the single most fascinating part of the human body without a doubt, vision is extremely complex and requires a lot of determination to be able to understand them to depth, I have this determination.
Ever since I was studying for my GCSEs I was very interested in studying optometry, I was fascinated by the sophisticated instruments that were used, and I decided to look into the subject at depth and I came to really understand the high demands and levels of expectation that are required. I became intrigued to study optometry the more I looked into it. I think optometry is perfect for me because I have a strong science background, and I have a true passion for science, in particular biology and physics. The idea of a career that would exploit my humanity and problem-solving abilities always made optometry a natural choice. In addition I enjoy aiding those people who are in need as I participated in a first aid course provided by the local community association, I found the first aid course interesting and I gradually built on my knowledge of the human body. I take great pleasure in people and their diversity, and by combining my love of science with the interpersonal rewards gained from interacting with them, I hope to fulfill this ambition.I truly believe that optometry is the course for me because it allows me to exploit my problem solving skills obtained in my A level mathematics, and use them to diagnose the problems that are associated with vision. It has been a true aspiration of mine to one day complete a degree in optometry, and then open my own private practice to the public, and to use the skills that I will obtain from university and convert theory into practice.

Last week, I went to the cinema and I watched a film. It was really good because the actors performed well.

Personally, I adore Roger and would've loved Nadal and Fed to play each other in the final but having two different players for once makes it quite interesting. It makes a change. Simon, this player who has played surprisingly well this week, although he does not have the storngest forehand, backhand and serve, has given me the impression that he is emerging as a very technical and very mentally strong player with good mentality, and seems quite dangerous being able to play under such pressure. Murray has played awesome tennis this week, hitting winniners right on the line, and serving very well.

I've just watched a program where people were asked in a shopping centre(mall) to guess how many table tennis balls were in a big bowl. Most guessed around 100-200, but when they were shown a false list of previous 'guesses' around the 500 mark, they all changed thier minds to match these answers. I'm in a tennis club and I was at a match this evening - I'm 8 weeks pregnant so wasn't playing - I was just sitting watching. I was half daydreaming, when I heard someone should "Look out" - I looked up to see what was wrong and got hit in the face with a tennis ball! The impact smashed my glasses and knocked me backwards!!

My nose was bleeding and my mouth felt numb so I went round to the Emergency Room and as it turns out I've broken my nose!! It's all bandaged up and I think I'll probably have bad bruising in the morning, and at least one black eye.

Besides that, my nose is in total agony! Just touching it makes me scream in pain! I really badly want to take something but as I said before I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I don't want to harm the baby.

Can you take painkillers if you are pregnant? If so, which ones, and how many?

Maybe it's stupid to be stessing about this stuff. But I can't help it. I'm 20 years old, I've never dated. It's not for lack of trying, it's just others don't find me attractive, I always hear "Your a nice girl but..." I'm always told I have a pretty face but the rest of me is ugly. I want to belive that a person can accept you for who you are but i've never seen it. I hate being fat! I'm trying to change it. Do I sound crazy or can i trade myself in for a newer model?

We are forever hearing that it is the greatest tennis tournament in the world, and the commentators like to remind us that the world is watching. Rubbish.
The fact that now it is 4am in Australia, 1am in China, 10am in South America and 8am in the Us (covers most of the tennis fan countries except eastern Europe) suggest that the world isn't actually watching and couldn't give two ****'s.
The world is probably as bothered about it as we are about the US Open or Australian Open.
It's defiantly a British that our competitions are better because they are ours and no one else could possibly match us (i.e best football league in world). The fact is that even the players themselves don't like Wimbledon but aren't allowed to admit, they follow strict rules, play in random weather conditions and have to answer questions on Andy Murray in every press conference and his chances of winning Wimbledon, he is a player they probably hate and have never seen play. Time we got over selves.
Sorry for the rant, can't wait till Wimbledon is over.

very little Wimbledon on the aussie and US page, Wimbledon has overtaken football on UK page and Sky don't even have coverage. I'm right and you know it.
Oh and FoxSport has live coverage of wimbledon, who cares the most?

Many people say in Peru there are not many interesting things to do. But in the free time someone has. It can be done lot of activities. Sports, games, social and cultural events are options you have to spend your free time.

If someone likes sports, there are many places where you can go and practice the sport you like. You can join a team and practice football, handball, basketball, hockey, volleyball, rugby and other sports. You can also practice individual sports like tennis, golf, bike riding, jogging and any other. If you like watching sports, there are stadiums where you can go and enjoy a football match.

If you do not like sports, there are other options to spend your free time. You can go to the movies, to the shopping mall, go shopping downtown and even go to a concert of a band or singer.

Talking about food, you can find many different kinds of restaurants, where you can eat pizzas, hamburgers or more sophisticated food. If you want to stay at home you can also rent some movies and ask for a delivery food.

As it has been proved, in Peru there are many places you can go and things you can do to enjoy our free time. People can choose between a lot of activities and they do not need to go to another country to have fun.

Anyone else been watching this? I love it.. but can't find it in the TV guide this week. Has it been axed, or just on hold because of tennis or something?

I am a 16 year old male and i get invited by my friends to go out and get pissed and pull girls but i decline as i dont like the taste of alcohol nd find watching people geting pissed borin and rather go up to my local tennis club and socialize and play tennis, also they get regly get moved on by the police nd as i want to be a policeman do not want to get my name took down by the police as this will decrese my chances of getting in to the police is this normal and am i doing the right thing by declining?

Paper Round: When I was 13, in June 2005, I applied for a Paper Round in my local newsagents. I delivered papers in the morning (before school) at various houses down different roads and streets. I worked from Monday to Sunday. I finally left the position in April 2008 so I could focus all energy/attention on my upcoming exams that May.

Work Experience: Towards the end of the Year 10 academic year (July 2007), I took part in a 2 week work placement at Transcar Projects located in Sidcup. I completed simple ICT tasks, connected electrical components and cables and many other jobs around the office. Working in the office environment gave me a better perspective on what I wanted to achieve, and working with adults of all different ages helped improve my communication skills.

Interests and Activities:

Wimbledon Tennis Championships Ball Boy: As of June/July 2007 I’m an official ball boy working at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Starting in October 2006 I went through extensive training to earn the privilege to be chosen as one of the few to make it through to the final tournament. Working with a team on court, and having to be extremely well behaved at all times, my team building, obedience and communication skills were greatly improved. During the 2006 tournament I was predominantly on centre court, and was one of the lucky few to ball boy for the men’s final between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. As of then I have been a ball boy at the 2007 Davis Cup and 2008 Wimbledon tournaments, and have been asked to continue my role in the future.

Kingston Royals Swimming Club: During my times as a swimmer at KRSC, I was chosen to represent the club and Kingston in a variety of different galas. This was a very successful period for me that required commitment and the ability to focus.

Interests: Like many others my age I enjoy spending time with my friends. I do this in a variety of ways such as team sports like football and relaxing at home. I also enjoy playing tennis and golf, and I’m altogether an active person. I also enjoy watching football as well as playing and I’m an avid supporter of Chelsea FC, where I have watched many games. Was watching Venus vs Keothovang today, and they had one ame that went backwards and forwards between Advantage and Deuce for what seemed like 3 or 4 days.

Anyone know what the ACTUAL record is tho?
When I say game, I actually mean one single game, not a whole match.
