Can I use a computer monitor as a tv replacement for use with time warner cable box?
I'm looking to purchase a new desktop for my room. The room is pretty small, but big enough for a desktop pc. Being that I have no room for a television, I was wondering if I could use the computers monitor to hook up a time warner cable box? Is it possible to do without a tv tuner? If not, what type of tv tuner should I be looking at in order to connect a cable box and watch cable off the computer as if i was watching it on a regular tv?

We use a 24" lcd monitor for a tv for 2 or 3 years now. We use a tv tuner and plugged in a coaxial cable for the direcTv.
It works great.
We go our tv tuners at compusa before they closed down.
[greedy mexican billionaire shut them down]
