i have dirtect tv and it wont let me watch unless i pay are there any sites to watch it free?

I would like to watch television at high quality from my PC and think I need to upgrade my video card and monitor to do so. Currently, I have an 8 year old 15 inch flat panel monitor and a brand new E-Machines T5048. I suspect the card is a cheap one as the machine cost me 5 at Circuit City.

I am not much of a gamer, although I will most likely get some PC games in the upcoming years as my 6 year old is starting to play more on the PC.

My biggest concern is getting a card which scales as my needs change in the upcoming years - i.e. HDTV video feed and future gaming needs.

What features should I look for in a new video card?

Also, what type of monitors should I look at so I can watch an HDTV feed from my TV Tuner Card while working on other programs. Is there a way to hook up two monitors so I can use one to watch TV and the other to work on the PC?

Could someone give me a link or how to , watch FREE completely free streams of soccer games , only post if you know it works I dont really wanna be joining bunch of sites or paying

I was a kid at the time, but when I was living in the UK I distinctly remember watching television and hearing a song and watching an accompanying video showing what I think were English national team cricket players. I may be totally misremembering it, but the only lyrics from the song that I think I remember went something like "We're fighting back... England's pride!" All of this was accompanied by scenes of cricket players whacking the heck out of the ball. I thought the song was catchy at the time, but I can't find any information on it. Does anyone else remember this song, and, if so, do they know what it was called and where I could find it?

I will be living in Dubai during the American Football season and I may not go if I cannot watch my football Are there satellite programs I can purchase? I knwo I can get ESPN, but as you may know, most of the games are not on this channel but instead are on the major networks.

Computer specs: Dell Dimension 4700, 1GB RAM, 3.0GHz CPU, 160GB HD, WinXP Pro, DVD-ROM drive, PCI-Express.

Neither me nor my future wife EVER watch television, just movies, so we don't want to get a TV when we get married in a couple of months. We just want to get a good setup for watching DVDs on the computer.

Right now, I just have the Intel integrated video card which is VGA-only, and the quality on the DVDs isn't so great. Dark colors are washed-out, sometimes the video skips to catch up, etc. I have a 17" Dell Ultrasharp 1704 LCD digital-ready monitor (though I think we'll be getting a 20" widescreen because everything we watch is widescreen).

I want a video card that works well for watching DVDs and DivX files. I don't play any PC games so it doesn't need to be a super high-end card. I just want the cheapest card I can find that does what I need... Could I do something as inexpensive as a Radeon X300, or do I need something like a GeForce 6600, or something even better?

Several years ago the mens' tennis became somewhat boring because of baseline tennis. The womens' game was fantastic because you had the likes of Navratilova, Graf, Sabatini, etc who played some fantastic physical and entertaining tennis. Now it's all about who can serve faster and who can hit the hardest - it's soooooo boring. Technology has its pros and cons - use it to slow down the game and make it more enjoyable to watch!!!!

I remember watching tennis not so long ago and there were no black players. All of a sudden there are a whole lot of them. I am watching the match with Andy Murry and looking at his opponent he looks black and that got me thinking.
