I did last year in 2006 playoffs v.s the tigers by the way if you dont know by now im a yankee fan moving on, i was sick during that series they played on a tuesday i watched that game. They dint play on wed because it was a rainout . The next day they were goign to play at 10 am pt i was still kind of sick ,but i was good enough to go to school . I'm going to be playing division I college soccer in the fall of 2009 and i was wondering if european scouts watch games and become interested in players?

After living in US as an international student for some years now, I'm going to miss the college football games when I return home. I wonder if anybody knows already how to get the games live on TV somehow. I know there's some live broadcasting on internet sites, but I'd rather watch it comfortably on TV. Or saying it differently, can you get the NBC, ABC, or ESPN channels live, just as if you were watching them in US?

when the change over to digital tv comes into force,, surely it will have a negative effect on the birds navigation systems, and lead to some species demise. possible extinction,, and also the cycles of nature would have a roll on effect, if the birds start dying due to them not being able to navigate to breeding and feeding areas. the insects species will rise, so therefore the spread of some diseases will increase. the plants species will also suffer.

bit long winded, but iam sure the inteligent people here will get the drift..

I have a problem that is really bothering me and I would really like some advise.

I started to like tennis a few years ago (when I got my nintendo wii and wii sports) so I started to get really into it, I got a new racket, balls etc and I really started to enjoyed it.

But when my racket broke I couldn't play anymore so I forgot about it but I was upset.

But just recently my dad bought me a new racket for my birthday so I have got into it again and I have really thought this through and I want to continue playing tennis for years to come, I am going to start to go to a tennis club and get some coaching too to make me better but the problem is my mum thinks I am just going to do all of this and then stop and start another thing.

I want to make tennis a part of my lifestyle but my mum doesn't think I will, I have in the past played football, golf and basketball but I found tennis again and I want to stick with it and it is a sport that I feel comfortable with & enjoy.

I practise everyday against my wall in my garden (just for now until I go to this club) and I also play with my family and friends whenever possible, I just want to show my mum that I want to keep doing this and I wont "just stop" and start another thing because I really enjoy this sport.

I have also started watching wimbledon and I have found some tennis players that I like to watch but my mum always says to me "you don't even watch tennis so don't try to be big" & also when she talks on the phone to family, friends etc she says "she thinks shes a wimbledon player" and it really upsets me and doesn't make me feel confident when im playing.

I understand what my mum is saying but I want to show her that this is what I want to do and I will keep doing it.

Any advise??
