I am married and have been having unprotected sex with my husband for the last year (11mths). And have not yet fallen pregnant. The last 5 months or so I have been watching my cycles but just want some advice from some other women ttc.

I am now 29 years old and was on the pill from when I was 18 until I was 26. When i was younger I had taken a couple morning after pills, not sure how many maybe 3 times. I had also taken a weeks worth of pill a couple of times in one go as I was young naive and was told it would act as a morning after pill for the days I had missed my period.

I have also taken a few drugs in the past not anything serious or regular, maybe curiosity etc. but there we have. Its not something I am proud of but its not something I can ignore. From when I was 26 I didnt have any intimate relationships until I met my husband when I was 29.

Now will these mistakes from the past prevent me from being able to conceive. Im really worried. But i see stories of really bad addicts to alcohol drugs etc. who fall pregnant. But could i just be one of the unlucky ones??

It just seems so unfair I have really turned my life around but it may be too late.

I am trying to loose the excess weight I have and be as healthy as possible. However I do smoke cigarettes.
I want to go to the docs but at the moment we are out of the UK and I dotn trust the systems here and i dont know the language that well. I will be back in the UK next March but just want some advice before then as it seems like a lifetime away ..........

I go often to watch rugby union games and am constantly baffled as to what the touch judge is meant to do. What role are they supposed to serve? They do point their flag to indicate who they think should be taking the line-out (and where). And they check that the defensive backs are a certain distance away from the line-out. Plus making sure conversions and penalties go through the posts. What role should they actually perform in terms of giving the referee advice and support regarding foul play? Seems like the ones we get are always pretty blind to anything! What are they for?!
